Moroccan food is a vast field of creativity and taste,
covering more than fifty typical dishes from that country of Northern Africa.
Here is the one I prefer : The Harira Soup. It's a soup made with meat,
tomatoes, herbs, chick peas and rice or vermicelli and spices. The recipe
changes from a family to another or from a region to another. It's usually
served to break the fast at sunset during the month of Ramadan and it's
accompanied by Shebbakia, a sesame and honey pretzel.

Jad, this dish looks absolutely yummy! I love to cook, so this is on my list on dished to prepare :) Anways, by look at your other blog posts, I can tell that you are the kind of guy I'd be friends with. In fact, you look and remind me of one of my best friends, Cris! Your pictures of the beach are absolutely great too. Well, I have a question. Other than Rock, what music do you like? What are your favorite bands or artists? Anyways, if you want to know more about me, you can check out my blog. I hope to hear back from you soon :) - Dalya
RépondreSupprimerHi! This soup looks delicious. I love how the recipe differs from family to family. Every family has their own way of making the dish, but they all share their love for it. The pretzel that goes with it sounds great too. I would love to try both sometime!
RépondreSupprimerHi, wow this soup looks great! Like Claire said I think its so cool how each family can put their own twist on it. I think I'm definitely going to have to try and make it!

RépondreSupprimerHello Jad! I saw someone else post a different dish, and they talked about this soup as well. They also mentioned about Ramadan and breaking the fast. I think that is cool, that you guys were talking about the same thing haha. I think this looks really good! I am not a huge fan of tomatoes, but I would definately try this!
